H.E.L.P. (Harehills English Language Project) ESOL classes every Tuesday and Thursday morning starting at 10am until 12 noon. Classes are free. We welcome complete beginners and more advanced students (Levels pre-entry and 1 to 3). Children aged 1 and above are welcome to attend our creche. If you are interested and would like more information please email Celia.


Improvers (Advanced) course for ESOL learners who are able to speak English but want to improve their reading and writing.

The course will discuss topics for gaining knowledge on health, educational and social activities in the Leeds area and the surrounding towns and countryside.

The course will also include appropriate basic literacy and numeracy skills to enable you to participate and be aware of local services and activities e.g. public transport, libraries, museums, galleries, hospital services, schools and community events whilst improving your English language. The course is intended to improve literacy skills so that you may progress onto an accredited courses such as Functional skills. Daytime Creche is available.
