Beginners course to improve your English. This course is for people who have ESOL skills at below Entry 3 and general education below Level 2. Improve your English, speaking, reading and writing skills in real life situations. This course is for people who have ESOL skills at below Entry 3 and general education below Level 2.

The course will discuss topics for gaining knowledge on health, educational and social activities in the Leeds area and the surrounding towns and countryside.

The course will also include appropriate basic literacy and numeracy skills to enable you to participate and be aware of local services and activities e.g. public transport, libraries, museums, galleries, hospital services, schools and community events whilst improving your English language. The course is intended to improve literacy skills so that you may progress onto an Improver’s course or even accredited courses such as Functional skills.
